PocketLinux taps Jabber to bring XML messaging to devices

Jabber.com today announced that Transvirtual Technologies has integrated Jabber's instant messaging technology into Transvirtual's PocketLinux mobile device operating environment. Embedded Linux becomes established in Malaysia

Coventive Technologies (Taiwan) has announced the formation of Malaysia's first Embedded Linux software company. The new enterprise, called “CSA Coventive MSC,” resulted from a joint venture between CSA Malaysia (a subsidiary of the US company, Computer Sciences Corporation) and X-Channel Ltd (a subsidiary of Coventive).
