2006 — year of the Linux device?

The year 2006 will bring great strides for Linux, but no great revelations, predicts Oliver Kaven, who ponders Linux's potential in a PC Magazine feature article. While nodding to Linux's well-accepted success in the server space, Kaven concludes that embedded Linux will quietly achieve corporate acceptance, with progress slower in the desktop realm.
