Microcross has released hardware/software embedded development kits based on Cogent Computer Systems development boards for Sharp LH79520, ARM720T, Atmel AT91RM9200 ARM920T, and Motorola MCF5272 Coldfire microprocessors.

Each kit comes with:

  • GNU X-Tools toolsuites (full development tools)
  • A Cogent CSB3xx development board
  • Cogent CSB300 breakout board with cables and power supply
  • Evaluation versions of Microcross Visual X-tools IDE and ported RTOSs, including MicroC/OS-II by Micrium, and the open source RTEMS by Cogent

The Coldfire kit includes a BDM Adapter for GDB debugger connection via parallel cable. The kits start at $849 for the ARM720T and $999 for the ARM920T and Coldfire.

Microcross, along with Cogent, will show the kits at the Embedded Systems Conference in Boston, MA this week.
