Embedded market pundit launches blog

Jan 4, 2006 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

Venture Development Corp.'s Chris Lanfear has launched a blog on the embedded systems market. Lanfear describes his “On-target: embedded systems” blog as “the first real-time news and analysis source,” adding, “It's the best way to spend the first couple of minutes of your day” (although we humbly suggest visiting… LinuxDevices.com first).

Recent musings include the outlook for Wind River's “DSO” (device software optimization) coinage, and five things Lanfear expects in 2006, including a greater emphasis on security and real-time Java (again). Another post poses the question, “Is Linux a cult?”

Check out Lanfear's web log, On Target: Embedded Systems, here.
