MontaVista Software has appointed a new VP of Business Development, who will be responsible for further expanding and strengthening relationships with key strategic partners worldwide. The company claims that much of its success has derived from its focus on strategic partnerships with semiconductor, software application, middleware, and systems integration companies.

Scott Jaffe came to MontaVista in August of 2003, serving as director of Business Development. His resume includes senior sales executive experience with Tangram Enterprise Solutions and Sybase.

MontaVista CEO Jim Ready said, “Scott has a terrific track record of developing strategic alliances that directly and positively affect a company's bottom line while dovetailing into the company strategy.”

“Strategic alliances continue to be of pivotal importance to our company's success,” affirmed Scott Jaffe, vice president of Business Development, MontaVista Software.
