POSIX real-time standards revised

The IEEE-SA Standards Board approved two new POSIX real-time standards on December 10, 2003:

  1. REVISION P1003.13/D3 (C/PA) Standard for Information Technology -Standardized Application Environment Profile – POSIX Realtime and Embedded Application Support (AEP)
  2. NEW P1003.26/D4 (C/PA) Standard for Information Technology – Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) – Part 26: Device Control Application Program Interface (API) [C Language]

The new standards were developed by the System Services Realtime Working Group (SSWG-RT). Those interested can access the SSWG-RT web area by joining their mailing list.
