Reference design for PowerQUICC III debuts with Linux BSP

GDA Technologies has announced the release of its reference design kit for the new Motorola MPC8540 PowerQUICC III processor. It includes an embedded Linux board support package.

GDA's reference platform is a RMC and PMC form factor board and supports RapidIO, PCI, SODIMM slot for DDR memory, Flash memory, a Gigabit ethernet port, ethernet port, and a serial port.

The kit will be available Q3 03.
