Remote management servers boast open source guts

Utah startup Opengear Inc. unveils its first products this week at the LinuxWorld conference in Boston. The CM4000 remote console servers come in 8-, 16-, and 48-port models, and are powered by an ARM-based system-on-chip processor running uClinux along with software from other open source projects.
