Pittsburgh, PA — (press release excerpt) — As the technology-rich Indian cities of Bangalore and Madras emerge as the new silicon centers of the far east,
Pittsburgh-based TimeSys Corporation takes a page from its American experience by launching TimeSys India Private Limited in the southern city of Coimbatore. Launched to conduct the research and development for the company's next generation tools for building embedded real-time systems, TimeSys India Private Limited will initially employ between twenty and thirty people.

“Similar in many ways to our Pittsburgh home base, Coimbatore is located in a metropolitan area, nestled between two tremendously strong technology-focused colleges,” says TimeSys CEO Srini Vasan. “With this expansion, we are reaching a top talent pool that would otherwise have been impossible to tap.”

TimeSys India Private Limited will be led by Madan Sendhil who will be the Managing Director of Indian Operations. Madan has extensive Embedded Technology background through several years of experience at Motorola, USA. “TimeSys is working with leading edge technologies, which is very appealing to the tech-savvy
engineers from India. I am very excited about leading the operations for TimeSys in India”, said Madan.
