A new window system for Embedded Linux

Seoul, Korea — (press release excerpt) — Adelinux, Inc. has announced the development of @win, a new window system environment for Linux. @win is designed for both desktop and embedded systems, and can fit within as little as 200KB memory.

Unlike Microsoft Windows or the X Window System, @win takes state of art technologies and poses minimal disk and RAM requirements, and provides more reliable and faster graphic functions. @win can run on a variety of hardware platforms and displays, and it also provides the performance and functions of desktop environments with supporting QT and GTK widget libraries.

By using @win, a Unicode based multi-lingual system, application developers can save the development costs and time. @win offers high quality graphics APIs and a high-speed graphics engine which allow developers to efficiently create lots of applications, including games and multimedia.
