CompactFlash card support announced for Zaurus Linux PDAs

[Updated Feb. 27, 2003] Socket Communications announced a partnership with Sharp Electronics and SDG Systems to ensure that Socket's CompactFlash plug-in accessories are compatible with Sharp's Linux-based Zaurus family of PDAs.

Specifically, the Socket products that currently support the Sharp Zaurus product line include . . .

  • Bluetooth card
  • WLAN card
  • Low power Ethernet card
  • 10/100 Ethernet card
  • Digital phone card
  • Bar code scanner
  • Single port serial card
