ELC Volunteer Opportunity: LinuxWorld NY

ELC Executive Director Murry Shohat writes . . .

Dear Members and Friends —

The Embedded Linux Consortium needs a few volunteers to assist with booth duty next week at LinuxWorld Expo New York.

Booth duty consists of greeting attendees and providing basic information about the Consortium. We provide on-the-job training. The objective, of course, is to recruit new members to our promotional and standardization missions. The dress code is “dress casual.”

If you are a member and wish to help, I offer an exhibitor badge that will get you into the show at no charge. You need to sign up for a minimum of 2 hours of service at Booth 340 during exhibit hours anytime on Wednesday, January 30 through Friday, February 1. This is first-come, first-served. Send me an e-mail now if you can help.

I also encourage all members and friends at the show to stop by for a news update. A lot is happening that just isn't ready to put in print yet.

Best regards,

Murry Shohat, Executive Director
Embedded Linux Consortium
