Lineo Regroups — Again [Linuxgram]

Linuxgram's Maureen O'Gara offers additional insight into this week's Lineo layoff in this article . . .

“. . . Lineo has cut staff. This time roughly 45%, reducing it to 75 people. The terminations were made Monday.”

“[CEO] Harris expects [Lineo] to emerge from the exercise 'P&L profitable and cash flow breakeven.' The company will then be able to 'grow behind the revenue, not ahead of it,' he remarked. Harris said Lineo should do $4 million in revenues next quarter. Ironically, it is currently staring at its largest backlog ever, worth $5 million, Harris said.”
