InterVideo says its InstantON technology will enable AOpen's XC Cube barebones PC to double as a DVD/VCD player and TV viewer, MP3/Audio CD player, and an FM radio with surround sound. XC Cube, which includes VCR-like user interface elements and a remote control, is available now in Japan, with worldwide distribution pending.
