Socorro, NM — (press release excerpt) — Finite State Machine Labs, Inc. (FSMLabs) announced the immediate availability of RTLinux/Pro and RTLinux Dev Kit for Cirrus Logic's EP7312 family of high performance low power embedded processors based on the ARM720T core. On the Cirrus EDB7312 development platform, the RTL Index is 101 microseconds. The RTCore Index, determined in a series of tests including at least one 24 hour run correspond to the potential worst-case delay that would be seen by
real-world application code.

FSMLabs Principal Systems Engineer Michael Barabanov states that “The combination of Cirrus' EP7312 processor and RTLinux/Pro is excellent for applications like SOHO routers, robotics, and telecom edge devices that need both low power and highly reliable real-time.”
