The software is said to be a lean and robust implementation of IPsec and IKE protocols for both IPv4 and IPv6 netorks, providing end-to-end IP datagram security.

“Network security for embedded Linux is becoming increasingly important and TeamF1 is committed to providing leading edge solutions in that field,” said Vinai Kolli, vice president of engineering and co-founder of TeamF1.

Sheila Baker, vice president, marketing MontaVista Software, said, “Network equipment makers are increasingly turning to embedded Linux, and demand compatible security solutions such as solutions provided by TeamF1.”

V-IPSecure is the newest member of TeamF1's SSecure family of products, and is immediately available for royalty-free licensing directly from TeamF1 and through its channel partners.
