EDC to preview new Linux developer study at LinuxWorld

(EDC) analyst Jeff Child, Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 1:45 p.m. PDT.
Child will offer a 'sneak preview' of the latest Evans Data Corp. worldwide Linux developer study as part of the Aug. 12-15 event at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center. The just-completed Evans Data 'Summer 2002 Linux Developer Survey' is based on in-depth interviews with hundreds of developers conducted by Evans every six months.
Child's presentation, 'Linux Adoption and Prospects for the Future', part of the Conference's 'Emerging Trends' track, will profile developers, chart major patterns in the Linux market, and forecast technology adoption trends.
