Embedded conference wants to announce your product

An embedded industry conference/expo is soliciting entries for its new product competition. Eligible products must relate to the embedded industry, and cannot have been announced prior to the show's start date. The “First-look New Product Forum” is part of GSPx, set for September 27 – 30 in Santa Clara, Calif.

The New Product Forum will showcase new hardware, software, and EDA (electronic design automation) products for developing embedded solutions, according to event promotor Global Technology Conferences. Product entries comprise product descriptions of no more than 400 words, and no more than two supporting graphics. The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2004.

GSPx Conference Chairman Dr. Amnon Aliphas said, “GSPx is the ideal forum to introduce new embedded technology products. Competition increases considerably each year. Only 15 percent of the products submitted to the 2003 New Product Forum earned awards."

In addition to the New Product Forum, the event features IEEE-sponsored professional development workshops, presentations on more than 500 white papers, and panel discussions and keynotes. The event targets embedded engineers and senior-level executives, and 4,000 are expected to attend.

More information regarding the New Product Forum can be found online.
