MiniGUI — a technical introduction

MiniGUI is a four-year-old open source GUI framework for Linux devices — especially those running real-time applications — that is now a stable, viable alternative to QT/Embedded and Microwindows, according to founder and maintainer Wei Yongming. MiniGUI supports uClinux, among other kinds of embedded Linux, and can be built with POSIX thread library support. We asked Mr. Wei for a technical introduction to MiniGUI, and he and his development team put together a nice overview and mini-tutorial.
