The Open Group Real-time and Embedded Systems Forum is meeting on Thursday 22 March in Brussels with a special session entitled “21st Century Real-time & Embedded Systems”. Readers of the LinuxDevices.com website are invited to attend as guests of The Open Group. If you are interested in attending please contact Chris Parnell.

Speakers include Martin Timmermann, Chief Editor of Dedicated Systems Magazine, Chris Clark from LynuxWorks, Greg Bollella from Sun Microsystems, Tom Clausen from the European Commission, and Andrew Josey from The Open Group. The session includes presentations ranging from Market drivers for Real-time and Embedded Systems, Trends in Embedded Linux, European Initiatives in support of Embedded Systems, Real-time Java, Real-time Linux, to the Real-time and Embedded Systems Forum update.
