Trolltech expands Korean Embedded Linux partnerships

Mountain View, CA — (press release) — Trolltech today announced that it is partnering with Mizi Research Inc., a leading embedded Linux solution provider in Asia, to provide an integrated software solution for manufacturers of embedded devices. Mizi Research Inc. (www.mizi.com), who specializes in PDA, Set Top Box and mobile phone technology, will work… closely with Trolltech to provide expertise in sales and marketing for the Asian market. As part of the partnership, Mizi will include Trolltech's Qt/Embedded, a GUI environment and windowing system with their Linuette Linux for embedded devices.

“Asia is the world leader at producing first-of-a-kind consumer electronics,” said Haavard Nord, Trolltech CEO. “Mizi has proven to be a leader in this market and we anticipate great things from this partnership.”

Trolltech also recently announced a partnership agreement with PalmPalm Technology Inc.
