Version 3.3 of GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) is released

The GNU GCC project has announced the release of GCC 3.3. GCC currently contains front ends for C, C++, Objective-C, Fortran, Java, and Ada, as well as libraries for these languages. A release notes document summarizing new features, changes, fixes, and caveats relating to the GCC 3.3 release is available here.

An upcoming GCC Developers Summit, taking place May 25-27, 2003 in Ottawa, Canada, will provide an opportunity for GCC developers and enthusiasts to meet and discuss their work, and will include 20 technical presentations plus working group meetings and brainstorming sessions.
