Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Team is Founded

The ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) professional team has been founded. The team has two members: Jaroslav Kysela from Czech Republic, the ALSA team leader; and Abramo Bagnara from Italy. These members are employed by SuSE to work full-time on the ALSA project. (more…)

EE Times, in an story by Chappel Brown, reports that Endgate Corporation has developed a multi-processor system based on Linux, capable of dramatically reducing the time required to model complex analog systems such as optimal antenna shape designs.
