ATCA conference deems virtualization “best of show”

Microcross Inc. has released an embedded Linux development kit aimed at easing the design of portable, multimedia-enabled devices. Linux SDK supports sub-$10 HD-video SoC

Telecom infrastructure software gains DSP support

Telecom RTOS (real-time operating system) and HA (high-availability) middleware vendor Enea has launched a new product aimed at helping developers and administrators control, monitor, and debug DSP (digital signal processor) farms. “dSpeed” supports DSP management processors running Linux, and works with DSP clusters based on Enea's OSEck RTOS for DSPs.
