Advanced routing software suite supports Linux-based systems

ZebOS ARS Version 3.0 includes Virtual Routing, RSVP-TE, CSPF, and Mobile IP Home Agent Discovery support. The newest version of the Advanced Routing Suite adds MPLS traffic engineering to our MPLS-VPN suite and is fully integrated with our routing protocols… through a unique CSPF topology update module. The new 3.0 version also offers a Virtual Routing (VR) source code module that allows edge equipment to securely support multiple users without the increased cost and footprint associated with using multiple routers. The Mobile IP Home Agent Discovery offer additional features to our growing list of wireless base station customers.
The Advanced Routing Suite (ARS) is based on a unique, modular, multi-process architecture, which is built around the NSM. The NSM provides route redistribution and conversion, management services, and an OS/processor abstraction layer for both the routing and switching modules. Protocol modules for OSPF, BGP, and RIP for IPv4 and IPv6 use the services of the NSM to provide routing table information and updates. In addition, MPLS modules for LDP and the MPLS Forwarder use the NSM for central management and routing integration. The ARS, which can be used in embedded equipment and as a route server on standard server platforms, contains a number of features that ensure that device and system developers can quickly bring IP routing and switching software to market.
IP Infusion's software suites can be delivered as either portable, platform-independent source code, or in server solutions, which can be used to support proprietary systems and includes a number of OS dependant modules to quickly build on Linux and other popular operating systems. Processor support for Intel Pentium, Motorola PowerPC, Sun Sparc, and MIPS are provided.
