Applied Microsystems to support Hard Hat Linux with debug tools

Montreal, Canada — /PRNewswire/ — Applied Microsystems Corp., a leading innovator in software development solutions, and MontaVista Software Inc., developer of the Hard Hat Linux operating system are announced an agreement to integrate Applied's CodeTEST development tool into MontaVista's Hard Hat Linux operating system distribution.

CodeTEST is a member of Applied's CodeOPTIX family of high-level software visibility tools. CodeTEST offers software development teams much needed gains in quality and productivity with software test and analysis methods that migrate through each stage of software development. With common file formats for native, software and hardware test and analysis, CodeTEST becomes the basis for a coherent, integrated test methodology. CodeTEST for Hard Hat Linux will be available in Q2, 2000.
