Intel has released a new version of its VTune Performance Analyzer for Linux, featuring fully Linux-native support for Itanium processors, a command-line interface, open source drivers that support custom kernels, and more. Intel says the tool targets mainly the optimization of financial, engineering, scientific, and multimedia applications. (more…)
