Dev kits support ARM720T, ARM920T, Coldfire embedded designs
Sep 15, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 1 viewsMicrocross has released hardware/software embedded development kits based on Cogent Computer Systems development boards for Sharp LH79520, ARM720T, Atmel AT91RM9200 ARM920T, and Motorola MCF5272 Coldfire microprocessors.
Each kit comes with:
- GNU X-Tools toolsuites (full development tools)
- A Cogent CSB3xx development board
- Cogent CSB300 breakout board with cables and power supply
- Evaluation versions of Microcross Visual X-tools IDE and ported RTOSs, including MicroC/OS-II by Micrium, and the open source RTEMS by Cogent
The Coldfire kit includes a BDM Adapter for GDB debugger connection via parallel cable. The kits start at $849 for the ARM720T and $999 for the ARM920T and Coldfire.
Microcross, along with Cogent, will show the kits at the Embedded Systems Conference in Boston, MA this week.
