ELC call for papers: talks on Embedded Linux for LinuxWorld
Feb 21, 2001 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 1 viewsThe Embedded Linux Consortium has issued a call for papers, for talks on Embedded Linux at the LinuxWorld Expo to be held in San Francisco this August . . .
The Embedded Linux Consortium has been selected by Linux World Conference and Expo to design and develop an Embedded Linux track that will first appear at LWE August in San Francisco. We have convened a Technical Conference committee for this purpose. Kevin Dankwardt, of K Computing, is the chairperson.
We are accepting proposals that include an abstract of talks along with objectives. That is, what will a listener be able to bring away after hearing your talk? Please insure that the talk is related to embedded
Linux, and is of a technical, not marketing, nature. Tell us your idea in the equivalent of a single page of text or less. Send these to both Kevin and and Murry Shohat,
Director of the Embedded Linux Consortium.
Our committee will review the proposals and package our recommendations for the various conference partners seeking an affiliation with our organization. Our committee will be in touch on each and every proposal.
