Embedded GNOME project in Japan?

Apr 28, 2001 — by Rick Lehrbaum — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

According to this recent posting at gnome.org, there is a new embedded GNOME project in Japan aimed at supporting handheld computers (PDAs, etc.) . . .

“There is an embedded GNOME project going on in Japan: Sikigami (means 'daemon' in old Japanese) is a GUI environment for PDA based on GNOME. Its alpha release source code available from their home page, but you must fill the forms in Japanese. You can enjoy the screen shot [here]. There is an English article about Sikigami [here].”
