Hacking the Roku media player

Lombardo, who authored the first book about embedded Linux (Embedded Linux), applauds Roku for opening up its device to hackers and hobbyists in the spirit of open source development. However, he does find some limitations once he sets about actually developing a simple application using the SDK.
