It is also taking information from users and from the marketplace and distilling it down so that our product and engineering teams can really understand what needs to be built”

“Tiemann: Some analysts are making assumptions about what Linux can't do, and this completely misses the point, which is that with open source technologies, anything can be done.”

“Tiemann: Many [companies' CTOs] have been using Linux at home for maybe two or three years. When they talk to their top engineers, their top engineers are saying, 'Wow, I am so glad you are finally asking the right questions.' . . .”
