Jun 1, 2002 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsIn this LinuxDevices.com whitepaper, Jorge Arellano Cid, the Dillo project's founder, maintainer, and lead developer, introduces the Embedded Linux community to the Dillo project.
What's Dillo? Dillo is a very small, fast, Open Source multi-platform web browser that's written completely in C and built on GTK+ libraries. Dillo's high efficiency and minimal library dependencies make it quite suitable for embedded apps. Dillo can even team up with an embedded webserver to completely eliminate the need for a window manager in an embedded device.
