Lineo High Availability Group Formed in Paris, France

The new group, led by general manager Hugo Delchini, is chartered to provide solutions for CompactPCI systems and high-end servers, including Internet servers, back-end database servers, telephone switches, high-end routers and network storage… systems. The Lineo High Availability Group was formed subsequent to the merger of INUP Technologies with Lineo in May 2000.
Lineo's high availability solutions are currently based on the Linux 2.2 kernel coupled with technologies and application layers developed by INUP. A full version of the Lineo high availability clustering solution will be available in September 2000. The second Lineo high availability solution, targeted at embedded applications, is scheduled for shipment during Q1 2001.
