San Francisco, CA, Embedded Systems Conference; — (press release excerpt) — Lineo, Inc. today announced availability of a complete development environment for digital set-top boxes based on the IBM PowerPC-based STB03xxx Evaluation Kit. Utilizing the Lineo Embedix SDK and customized board support package (BSP) for the IBM kit, developers can quickly build, debug, and deploy a customized Linux solution… for their set-top box.

Lineo's Embedix BSP and SDK development environment enables embedded system developers to quickly bring up new hardware, resolve integration issues, and facilitate the production and test of completed products.

Lineo will demonstrate this development environment on IBM's set-top box demonstration platform at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco March 13-15th in booth #2110.
