The article counts up how many devices are actually shipping with each OS, in nine categories such as mobile phones, audio/visual entertainment devices, and robots. In all, just over 600 devices are included, and the results are surprisingly close. If desktops are a Windows world, and Linux is stronger on servers, devices is definitely still up for grabs.
