IBM's developerWorks site has published a detailed technical article overviewing wireless networking under Linux. The article covers WLAN, Bluetooth, GPRS, GSM, and IrDA, and includes a review of Intersil's PRISM-based WLAN card showing how it interoperates with various components of a Linux operating system (PCMCIA, network devices, and protocol layers).
