LinuxLinks.com is proud to announce another exciting feature addition to its leading portal site. Over the past few months we have been receiving an increasing amount of email requesting an easy way to keep up-to-date with the latest developments on the Linux scene. With the huge amount of software and sites that are springing up it can be easy to miss out.
Always keen to respond to our visitors' needs, we have upgraded our “My LinuxLinks” service to allow registered users to receive email about our new link additions. Signing up is easy — and free of course :). Point your browser to www.linuxlinks.com/mylinks to create an account. Once signed in, you can subscribe to any of our Linux categories. So, for example, if you are interested in following the developments of the Sharp Zaurus (a popular Linux PDA) you could subscribe to our PDA/Zaurus category. To stop getting email you need only remove your category subscriptions. Having the ability to subscribe to the categories that interest you will prevent you ever missing an exciting Linux development again!
“My Linuxlinks” also offers the ability to collect your favorite Linux Links in one place and to customise your home page to your liking. By letting us maintain your Linux bookmarks, you avoid those nasty 404's.
LinuxLinks is updated on a daily basis and has the largest collection of hand-picked Linux links in the known universe (currently over 18,000 links).
