This year's summer LinuxWorld conference will feature three separate one-day, vendor-sponsored programs aimed at embedded Linux device developers. Set for Aug. 6-9 in San Francisco, the event includes programs from Access, Motorola, and Wind River.

Sessions include:

• Access Developer Day — Tues., Aug. 7
  • Access Linux Platform: An architectural overview
  • Access Linux Platform: Garnet VM compatibility station
  • The Access Linux Platform development suite: tools and techniques
  • Orange compatibility — What is it and how do I get it?
  • Building native applications for Access Linux Platform

• Motorola Fast Track with MotoDev — Wed., Aug. 8
  • An opportunity to meet Motorola developers, discover Motorola's MotoDev tools (based on Eclipse DSDP tools from yesterday's Europa release), and “get tips directly from on-site developer support engineers,” Motorola said

• Wind River Developer Day — Thurs., Aug. 9
  • Embedded Linux 101 and beyond
  • Demystifying real-time Linux in embedded device development
  • Open source platforms for mobile devices: why can't we all just get along?

The sessions are open to anyone with a conference pass. Alternatively, developers can pay $95 per session to attend.
