Last week some programmers showed off the newest X-Box version from Microsoft, with Embedded Linux on it, at a Chaos Computer Club meeting at Berlin. A team of four programmers ported Linux to the latest X-Box version in just 8 weeks. Microsoft sells the X-Box in Germany for a highly subsidized price, so one can now buy an X-Box and run Linux on it at less… than the cost of a similarly configured PC.
