Stockholm, Sweden — (press release excerpt) — TrustLink AB today revealed that it is currently porting its mobile device applications to the embedded Linux platform as a step in its product evolution strategy. Support for Linux will be included in the next major versions of TrustLink's software. TrustLink expects to release its first product that supports embedded Linux in Q3 2002.

“This fits in with our overall product strategy – we provide our applications on all leading handheld platforms,” said Mats Bergstrom, Managing Director of TrustLink AB. “We believe that Linux is establishing itself as a player in this market, so the progression was natural. Devices that support Linux such as Sharp's Zaurus are already creating a great deal of interest.”

TrustLink is a provider of mobile business applications using the latest in wireless and PDA technology. TrustLink Sales and TrustLink Service Version 2.1 are mobile front-end applications that enable users to handle orders, service orders, customers, products, contacts, tasks, and associated information, in a fast, easy, and accurate way. TrustLink is a member of WAP Forum, and MAI. TrustLink has its head office in Stockholm Sweden, close to Ericsson, its largest shareholder.
