MontaVista opens office in Germany

Oct 4, 2000 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

MontaVista Software has announced the opening of a Munich office, under the direction of Rudi Latuske, who joined MontaVista earlier this year as Central European Sales Manager. Latuske will initially concentrate his efforts on developing strategic relationships and alliances with major European vendors in order to expand MontaVista's presence across central and Eastern Europe.

Latuske brings 20 years of embedded industry experience to MontaVista. As a development engineer in the electronic medical devices industry, he later founded the German operation for Software Components Group, and became Managing Director after the Integrated Systems acquisition of that company in 1993.

MontaVista plans to expand the Munich office and to add an installation in Northern Germany before the year's end.
