New Bayonne web site launched

Oct 22, 2000 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — views

This morning a new and much more complete website has been launched for the Bayonne project at http://www.bayonne.cx. The new website replaces the old and obsolete Bayonne information page that was formerly found there.

Bayonne is the telephony server of the GNU project, and this new site should help better explain what Bayonne is, what resources are available for it, and how it can be used to deliver effective telephony solutions. As much documentation as exists today for Bayonne has been made available thru this new site.

Since my area of interest is not primarily web sites, I have structured the site in a manner that will make it easy for me to maintain and keep up to date. The Bayonne project is looking for a volunteer webmaster, and should one appear that wishes to restructure the site, that would be fine with me. We are also looking for mirrors for the Bayonne site and for distributing related software.

Any comments, questions, or thoughts about this site may be addressed to me, at [email protected].
