Hi,
following many pressing requests from RTAI users, RTAI developers have decided to provide a forum for RTAI specific items. RTAI users should not feel left alone anymore, a common complaint I often received. In fact they kept pouring questions to the RTAI home site and, being now RTAI a many handed OSS project, it often happened that a better answer could be obtained from a non DIAPM developer. So an annoying forwarding of messages was often required to get help.
This move does not mean that realtime.org will be abondoned by RTAI people. It remains an important point for general matters related to real time within Linux, and all the announcement of official releases of RTAI will be kept on this site also.
The address of the RTAI mailing list is [email protected] and to subscribe follow the standard procedure, i.e.: send a mail to [email protected] with “subscribe rtai” as the body of the message. That's all you need to do.
Ciao, Paolo
