Nokia USA has started accepting orders for the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet, with availability listed as November 17. The small mobile web tablet is priced at $360, including three-day shipping via Federal Express, but not including sales tax.

The 770 is Nokia's first consumer product based on Linux. It is a small (5.5 x 3.1 x 0.7 in.) tablet with a wide, 4.3-inch, 800 x 480 pixel touch-screen, and integrated WiFi and Bluetooth wireless networking. Bundled software includes: web browser, email client, Internet radio, news reader, media players, image viewer, file manager, search, calculator, world clock, PDF-viewer, notes, sketch, games. The 770 had been initially expected to ship in September, at prices around $350, but was delayed last month, for unknown reasons. Last week, the device became available through Nokia's European direct sales website, priced at 349 Euros (~$412) including tax.
