Nokia Networks taps MontaVista to help develop “All-IP” infrastructure

MontaVista Software announced today that it has been chosen by Nokia Networks to help develop an All-IP infrastructure. Specific details of the products and services under development were not disclosed.

Matti Airas, director, Nokia Networks, said “with the convergence of voice and data, telecommunications companies must guarantee the delivery of the end-user services in an affordable way. MontaVista Linux provides a standards-based, open-architecture, embedded software base that is both reliable and scalable,” he added.
