The Golden Mouse Award instituted in 1992 by Computerworld, rewards outstanding products and achievements in the Norwegian IT industry. The award jury consists of journalists and analysts from ComputerWorld. The Golden Mouse Award ceremony has recently been combined with the Rosing Awards – together the two awards represent the most prestigious awards
within the IT industry in Norway.
Qt/Embedded consists of an embedded Linux development platform and a complete windowing system. One of the unique values that Qt/Embedded brings to the market is that developers can build applications in their favorite (and familiar) development environments, and then simply recompile for the target embedded system. And because Qt/Embedded is 100% source-code compatible with Qt for desktop, (MS Windows, Unix, and Linux) thousands of existing desktop applications written in Qt can be ported to embedded systems with a simple recompile. Qt/Embedded is also the basis of Qt Palmtop Environment, an environment that brings the functionality and flexibility of desktop computing to palmtop computers.
