Santa Ana, CA. — (press release excerpt)– Finite State Machine Labs (FSMLabs) and REDSonic have agreed to integrate RTLinux/Pro into REDSonic's product mix including the REDSonic's RED-Builder development and deployment tool.

RTLinux/Pro is a robust, commercial “hard” real-time processing application that runs concurrently with Linux and BSD operating systems. It employs a patented dual kernel technique that allows time-sensitive processes to cooperate with but preempt general purpose applications within complex computing environments. RED-Builder is a comprehensive GUI-based tool for building and deploying embedded Linux systems. Designed with a unique 'plug-in' architecure, RED-Builder offers unparalleled extensibility by providing developers with a framework for building Linux systems for x86, StrongARM, ARM7, ARM9, MIPS, and PowerPC targets.
