I have attempted to be objective in my review of the EMF report. In reviewing the report, I arrived at the conclusion that it does not treat embedded Linux in a fair and balanced manner. Many of my reasons for reaching that conclusion are given below, in the form of a series of questions, concerns, and comments based on my review of the EMF report.
I welcome the addition of opinions from both individuals and companies in the embedded market — on all sides of the issue — via the talkback thread which is provided at the bottom of this article.
