A Linux developer has launched a site supporting a line of tiny, SODIMM-sized SBCs (single-board computers) based on XScale SoCs (system-on-chip processors). The “Colibri Dev's Corner” offers news, patches, forums, and Wikis aimed at helping build a collaborative Linux development community around Toradex's… tiny “Colibri” boards.

Fabian Rami, who launched the new site, said in an email, “I recently bought the Colibri dev kit, but the lack of information and resources about the board pushed me to make my own site.”

The Colibri Dev Corner is currently available here. In addition to news, patches, forums, and Wikis, the site hosts patches to support recent Linux kernels, patches to support new hardware, and a new rootfs based on Gentoo Linux.

One recent SODIMM-sized Colibri board was touted by Toradex as the “world's first” embedded computer module to use Marvell's (formerly Intel's) Monahans XScale processor.
